About the Fire Dept.
The Andalusia Fire Department is located at 100 Church Street. By means of three pumpers and one 85 ft. aerial platform, this department operates with 20 full time fire fighters. These employees work on scheduled shifts which consist of 24 hours on and 48 hours off .
The Fire Department functions under the direction of Fire Chief Ethan Dorsey. His normal business hours are 8 – 5, Monday through Friday.
The City’s current I.S.O. rating is a Class 5.
